Tilter does Vegas - WSOP Style

Well, I'm 21 and I decided what the hell, I don't have many bills so I'll play the a WSOP Pre-lim Event. I booked my flight for July 23rd-July 29th (possibly longer if I qualify for the ME). My plan is to play the July 25th $1500 NLHE and try 1 or 2 $1000+60 Sats to the ME if I haven't qualified online yet (hopefully I will). My plan is to stay at Harrahs at their discounted hotel for WSOP Entrants.

Woke up today, $1000 on PS, so heck no I ain't play it. Started up Pacific Poker and decided to play their weekly $65+5 (50K Guaranteed).

I satelited into it though :P Played the $35+3 and just waited until I got AA KK AK QQ or hit a big flop since its 1 in 2 qualify.

Started off bad, like 1.5 hours of deadness, nothing happening. Until I pushed my 5 BB on CO with Q6c hoping to pick up my usual orbit so not to blind to death. Ran into AK but flopped a Q and then I had chips (well sort of)...dah dah dah...final 2 tables, I had 4BB and pushed 7 handed witH AJ, ran into QQ and AA!! Luckily I 4 flushed the nuts WOOT!

Made the final table my god, the blinds were high. Usual 3 player had 3-4 BB and I had barely 10. Any raise and a missed flop and you just lost like 1/3-1/2 your stack (thus me with 77 when I raised it min <-- was the standard bet). Pushed 99 for 5x (100K) UTG and ran into BB's JJ

GG me, $1500 richer towards my trip so its ALL GUUUUDDDDDD :)

Entourage

I just finishes watchin Season 3, Episode 2 of Entourage. That show is sick. Hilarious, funny and witty and Jeremy Piven who plays Ari Gold is a the perfect actor to bring it over the top.

I guess its a dream to become rich and then just live the life without a care. Living life in the fast lane (without all the drugs though) :)

ROAR!! Was playing well. Made 2 laydowns to keep alive and contiue to chip up. Fold QJ on J85 board when someone bet small, someoen called, I raised (to iso from cheap callers from behind) and smooth caller repushed

Then MP limped, I raised JJ 4x, and got repopped by BB to 18x (he didn't repop with AQ before, smooth called) so I made a tough gritty laydown.

Was able to climb back by doubling through a lagtard with AQ vs KQ. Lost a AQ vs 66 race, then this hand came up. I was originally going to slowplay it preflop, but once SS put a call there, only way was to push it

$20+2 481 Runners, I win $2405

First 2 hour, I had no more than 4000 chips, no hands, just playing off the cockcroach effect. Had to get lucky as I had 4 of the top 10 chip on my table with 90 left (top 45 pay). Kept myself alive and managed to double up. We got into the money and had a 2 hand run taking me from 5K to 25K. Then double up to 50K with AA on ATx vs AT. I proceeded to chip up to like 150K (avg 75K at final table).

I had one big bluff on my way to the final table. He was getting quite agressive sometime raising 2 hands (once 3) so I had to put him in his place and make him not touch my blinds and worry about making the final table.

Final table is pretty tight and starts on 1500/3000 blinds. Final table was VERY VERY LONG. Pretty much solid stealing. Down to 5 handed, with 9BB, I put the SB all in (he had 6BB) with 57s. He has AQ doh and flop came J64 (2 spades) for flush draw + straight draw + 5/7. I missed all and A hi wond. I then proceed to suck out AT with A4 (I had 1.5 BB and button pushed). Then 4 handed, with 2.5 BB I was UTG and pushed with J4 (since BB was weak tight, he folded getting 3:1 calling all ins twice, so hoping he would do the same). Shame button had KJ and I rivered a 4! I Then double up again for chip lead. Took out 4th with my 66 vs his AT. 3 handed I made some tight lay downs. folding KJ to 5x raise, folding A3o to SB 9x push. And finally I got 77 and called 10x AI to fnid myself against 22. 7on flop but player picked up 2 flush draw, but I boated up on turn. HU last 3 handed where I got A2c on BB and called his 8x push and floped a flush :) WOOT GG ME TY LEE!
