YAY, I won a tourney...a VERY SMALL ONE

Checkandraise poker has their FREEROLL TO VEGAS Tourney where you get a points equal to the amount of money you win in their $50 added R+A tourney and $50 freeroll. Top 25 play for $5000 WSOP + 1000, 26-50 play for $2500 WSOP + 1000, 51-1000 has 3x $1000 + 500 seats.

So I made a deposit (its a Pokerroom skin btw). 20 man R+A, $1+1 ($1 rebuys and addon). 18 players after first break. Action was fast and wild. I took rebuy and addon and lost a key pot before break to have 8K in chips.

2nd break, 5 left, top 3 pay. I their were 3 rocks and 1 passive agressive player (limps and takes down a lot of pots preflop). I had position on them so my min raises would take down a lot of pots and I knew how to mix it up when they picked up hands. I took out 5th when my TT beat A9, and then took out 4th got knocked out. I took out the passive pf agressive postflop player with 88 (me) vs A6.

It became heads up 60K vs 70K HU. I took the lead in the match, then lost a pot where I hit top pair KQ on Q97 and he had two pair. So it was 20K vs 110K. i grinded back to 80K vs 50K. Then lost a pot with K3 vs KJ on Kxx flop. Then I grinded back against from 30K vs 100K to 110K vs 20K. We got it all in 44 vs AQ and he turned Ace. So then it was 90K vs 40K. Chiped him off until we got it all in on 559 with Q5 to his 97. no 9, i win YAY. So now I have enough points to play one of the qualifier. Im thikning I may not play for a while and hope to play in the 51-100 qualifier as its 1:16. And I would really like my odds. But if I am in the 26-50 nearing the close of the promo, I would play up for the 5K seat.
